How is Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure Made?
Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure is derived from under intensive feedlot export sheds, located in Baldivis.

Sheep are housed in double storey sheds on mesh floors. All sheep are fed pellets and the manure and urine fall through the mesh floor on to the concrete ground at the bottom.

Frank’s feedlot sheds are the only sheep sheds in Western Australia to have concrete pad flooring underneath. This feature allows the manure and urine to be contained and mixed together creating micro-organisms, nutrients and richness in the sheep manure. This ensures a high quality compost is produced.

Sheds without concrete flooring will produce manure that is extremely dry, lacking richness and difficult to breakdown once in the garden. This is evident when the manure is very light and made up of only dry, round pellets.

What is Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure and What are its Benefits?

Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure is a natural, organic fertilizer derived from Frank’s intensive sheep feedlot sheds. When added to soil, Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure will increase fertility for plant growth. It is organic as it is derived from animal origin (sheep).

The Perth metropolitan area is comprised mainly of sand. This tends to be sterile and quick draining. It is not the preferred growing medium for plants.

Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure contains many substances needed by plants to assist in healthy growth. It is a good source of nitrogen, and this is required by plants for the normal healthy growth of green plant tissue, such as leaves and stems. Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure slowly breaks down providing a consistent level of nitrogen for your plants.

Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure will give substance and body to your soil. Applied regularly, it will turn sand into rich soil.

Unlike other manures, Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure is very mild, has a low odour and will not burn your plants. It is pure and 100% Sheep Manure. It is not mixed with other cheap substances, like saw dust or other manures.

“I have to say that my rose garden was the envy of all my neighbours this summer. My roses were over 6 feet tall and my potted plants were flourishing when everyone else’s had bitten the dust. I think the secret is Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure.”

Pat Pappadapulous, Applecross, W.A.

How is Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure Applied to the Garden?
It can be applied in two easy ways.

The easiest method is to simply spread a thin layer of Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure to cover the surface of the soil. Applysufficiently so that the soil is covered completely. With roses and similar family plants, a double layer is recommended for extra performance.

Another method is to apply Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure to the soil using a shovel to dig and mix the manure with the soil. This will allow the manure to accelerate its effectiveness and have an immediate benefit deep in the soil.

What ever method you choose, please water your garden immediately after spreading Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure. This will ensure the nutrients will soak through into the soil.

As a general rule of thumb, smaller applications of Frank’s Organic Sheep Manure applied frequently are more beneficial to your garden than larger applications applied less frequently.
